Great article about writing the music 4 the Arts-Based Educational Research project “Ducks on the Moon” as featured in “Education News” with me and Kelley Jo Burke. Thanks so much Shuana Niessen for the article and the pics! Parts of this ABER featured at the national Congress for the Social Sciences and Education (CSSE) in May 2018 at the University of Regina. “Scott Anthony Andrews is an Adult Contemporary prairie piano-man /singer-songwriter; proud to be accompanied by the lovely and talented Corinne Groff, whose wardrobe out-performs Scott’s any day!”
Really enjoyed being on CTV Regina Morning Live with Kahla Buchanan, weather specialist on Oct 8 & 9, 2015. Perfect opportunity to talk about my winter weather song “As If I Could (Say No to You Old Man Winter)”. However, as Kahla pointed out, these are awesome days here on the prairies, so fear not, I performed two NEW summer songs that I will perform at the gig, “Muskoka” and “The Ness Creek Smiles.” This song is all about summers in Northern Saskatchewan.
I participated in the Songwriting and Blogging Challenge last year sponsored by the Songwriters Association of Canada. It was awesome!! There is a blurb of mine describing the experience in the publication, “Songwriters Magazine: Celebrating the Art and Craft of Canadian Songwriters” (2016, p.7).
During Regina JazzFest, I was featured on the GlobalTV’s Morning News June 18, 2015. I performed my song “As If I Could (Say No to You Old Man Winter)”. Here I am after the TV segment with Andrea Dion, GlobalTV reporter, and Mr Ryan Hicks, Regina singer-songwriter. I am sure I have never sang that early in the AM before 😉
My “Courage Walks with Us” CD Release concert highlighted in BuzzCity! as well as several other media.

I was featured on the UK Blog RealSoundsUK. Great blog site. Check it out!

“Scott, I’ve been thinking about your performance on Friday evening – it was lovely, and I felt very privileged being there. You have a compelling voice. I wish you every success and pleasure as you continue your tour!” …Jenn deLugt
I have just listened to your CD that Helen lent to me and I insist on having my own copy. Congratulations on this major accomplishment. Everything about it is inspiring, perhaps especially the meaningful words, vocals and melodies. It is really well produced too. I am very impressed…Carol Schick
Hi Scott. Thanks for the invite to Saturday night. We really enjoyed your music and live format with Ross. Great job! And all the best with the world tour! 🙂 Patty & Stu Niebergall
I woke up this morning rather early – as usual – but my head was full of the songs from last night. I feel rather overwhelmed at how moved I was by the whole evening…Scott and Ross – you two were absolutely right on. The Spirit in that room last night was quite amazing. Just wanted to let you know I am still humming all the songs and re-living the warmth of being in such a heart-warming environment last night. ….Kathy Platt
