Finalist in 2014 Singer-Songwriter Mentor Experience!

I was very pleased to be named as a Finalist in the 2014 Singer-Songwriter Mentor Experience sponsored by the Songwriters Association of Canada. While I doubt that many songwriters engage in their craft for anything beyond the love of it, some recognition can be helpful—particularly, when such acknowledgement is sponsored by a professional organization of like colleagues, as SAC. Also, the nature of this contest speaks to the value of collaboration and community. A few posts ago, I talked about how much I got out of the songwriting workshop with Kat Danser.
